I know right now is a stressful time for all of us. It’s really difficult, lots of us are stress, eating, and bored. It’s just a hard time right now and super easy to gain weight. The first thing you can do to lose weight during quarantine is to stay busy. Most of us are just grazing around in the kitchen looking for something to do because we’re bored, so really sit down and ask yourself am I hungry or am I bored?  99% of us are just bored.

To do something with your time. Whether you’re starting some spring cleaning, clean out your trunk, make a YouTube channel or you can even learn a new skill.

You can also go on Udemy, there’s a whole bunch of options for you to learn something new with your time besides eating. Thus, figure out something else to do with your time and get out of the kitchen.

  • Stay out of the kitchen

You don’t need to be in the kitchen to get out of the kitchen. Don’t read in the kitchen. OR do your homework in the kitchen. Don’t work from the kitchen or even reading emails. If you need to be in there, you should know, it just opens up the door for you to mindlessly snack.

So stop thinking, oh I’m bored, let’s see what’s going on the fridge or let’s see what’s going on in the pantry. I m sure the fridge never changed just get out of the kitchen.

Exercising helps to regulate your digestion so you don’t feel bloated. You don’t feel heavy, you don’t feel gross.

If you’re able to workout outside while still social distancing then does that. You can go for walks, ride your bike, go for a run, jump rope even.

Thus, if you’re feeling sore after your workout, you can do that but working out is also good for stress relief.

  • Make sure that you maintain a routine

Maintaining a routine is important to lose weight during the quarantine. This means changing into your regular clothes not just sitting around in loungewear all day.

Changing into jeans and regular clothes is going to help keep you mindful of where your weight is. you’re going to be like oh my jeans are getting tighter maybe I should cut back on the trips to the kitchen. However if you’re just lounging around in sweatpants all day it’s a lot easier to lose track of your weight.

Thus, make sure that you change into regular clothes or at least weighing yourself once a week so it doesn’t get to the point where you have gained so much weight, and then it will be harder to lose it.

Always remember, it’s easier to lose three pounds than it is to lose ten pounds.

As a result, you have to figure something else out to do or limit your drinking or smoke weed.

Better I smoke weed all the time and I didn’t lose 50 pounds on accident. It also helps to drink a lot more water.
